All parents and teachers are members of the North Central High School Parent Teacher Organization, with or without financial contribution. As a team, we support NCHS’s programs and activities, with the goal of enhancing the educational and social experience of all students. We strive to link the school and the parents, offer opportunities for parental involvement with students, teachers, and each other, while supporting our teachers through educational grant awards.

HOW IS PTO FUNDED?
The PTO’s funding comes primarily from donations. Our ability to provide enriched student experiences through teacher grants, and to provide support for the many wonderful events and activities at North Central High School, depends largely on the generosity of our PTO community each year. To donate to the PTO, click the link below or send a check made payable to NC PTO, North Central High School, 1801 E. 86th St., Indianapolis, IN 46240.

HOW DO MEETINGS WORK?
We have two evening PTO Parent Educational Nights known as General Meetings. These may be virtual or in person (depending on current dynamics) and feature guest speakers on various topics. We also host several early morning “Bagels with Branigan” sessions and evening “Brownies with Branigan” discussion forums. These gatherings provide an informal opportunity to chat with our Principal, Evans Branigan III. The meeting dates are listed below — please join us!

To protect the safety of students, staff and volunteers please review and complete the requirements for all Washington Township Volunteers.
The Indiana Legislature has created new laws and regulations related to bullying. Bullying education and prevention training are among the new requirements for our PTO volunteers. Washington Township has tried to make the training requirement for volunteers as efficient and accessible as possible. They have contracted with an online service to deliver the training. Volunteers will be required to view a brief 18 minute session and answer a few questions. The new volunteer forms can be found here: Form A (Limited Criminal History Check) & Form B (Expanded Criminal History Check). The weblinks for the training are in the documents. Our principals have been made aware that some parents may need to access computers at school in order to complete this step.
