Principal's Message

Suzanne Zybert, Principal

I am excited to share the opportunity of True North Academy with our Washington Township community. As the Principal, I take great pride in the work that our students, staff, families, and community members are doing each day to advance North Central High School students toward the goal of earning a high school diploma.

True North Academy is a non-traditional education program that leads students to earning a North Central High School diploma. The individualized attention and smaller class sizes at True North Academy allow students to earn credits at an accelerated pace. The flexibility that is offered at True North allows students to choose a variety of learning options which include programs at the J. Everett Light Career Center, or even part time employment in the community while potentially earning high school credits. It is a blended learning program where students interact with teachers and with peers at True North and continue to take part in clubs, athletics, the performing arts, and school events at North Central High School.

If you have questions about True North Academy, would like to visit, and/or become involved in our school community as a volunteer or school partner, please contact me. We have an amazing school community, and we appreciate the opportunity to support our students as learners and leaders.
