JROTC – Placement

PLACEMENT

Female Uniforms Requirements:
Hair must be off the ears and collar.
No ponytails.
Black socks must be worn.

Class B
Board Rank:  On shoulder tabs.
Name Tag:  Aligned with the top right button and centered horizontally on the seam.
Ribbons:  Aligned with the top left button and centered horizontally on the seam.
Star:  Centered horizontally and 1/8 inch above the name tag.
Wreath:  Centered horizontally and 1/8 inch above the name tag. The star is placed inside the wreath.
Cords:  A maximum of two cords can be worn. If one is worn, it goes on the left. If two are worn, the one most improtant to you goes on the left.

Class A
Rank:  1 inch from the edge of the shoulder seam.  Arrows always point toward the collar.
School Shoulder Patch:  Centered on the shoulder sleeve.  1/2 inch down from the shoulder seam.
JROTC Shoulder Patch: Centered on the shoulder sleeve.  1/2 inch down from the shoulder seam.
Name Tag:  The bottom of the name tag is align with the top of the first button on the right side; centered on the seam.
Star:  Centered horizontally 1/8 inch above the name tag.
Academic Wreath:  Centered horizontally 1/8 inch above the name tag.
Ribbons:  The bottom of the ribbons are aligned with the top of the first button on the left side; centered horizontally on the seam.
ROTC Officers Insignia:  5/8 inch above notch, diagnolly on the upper lapel.
Cords:  A maximum of two cords can be worn. If one is worn, it goes on the left. If two are worn, the one most improtant to you goes on the left.

Male Unifom Requirements:
Clean cut hair, off the ears and collar.
A clean shave; mustaches should not be any wider than the width of the mouth.
No side burns.
No earrings worn with uniform.
Only black socks should be worn with the uniform.

Class B
Board Rank:  On shoulder tabs.
Name Tags:  Centered vertically and horizontally between the top of the right pocket and the pocket button.
Ribbons:  Centered on the left pocket and stacked up from the top of the pocket.
Star:  1/8 inch above the top of the right pocket and centered horizontally with the pocket.
Wreath:  1/8 inch above the top of the right pocket and centered horizontally with the pocket.  The star is worn inside the wreath.
Cords:  A maximum of two cords can be worn. If one is worn, it goes on the left. If two are worn, the one most important to you goes on the left.

Class A

Enlisted
Name Tag:  Placed 1/4 inch above the seam of the right pocket and centered horizontally.
JROTC Patch:  Placed 1/4 inch above the seam of the left pocket and centered horizontally.

Officer

Rank:  Placed one inch in from the top edge of the lapel on the jacket.  Rank is placed straight up and down.
ROTC Officers Insignia:  5/8 inch above notch, diagnolly on the upper lapel.
