NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

ATTENTION SENIORS:  TODAY and May 18, Ms. Palacios will be available during all lunch periods in the lower Student Center to make note of name pronunciations.  Stop by and make sure your name is pronounced correctly for graduation.

After School Learning Center: Due to library closure, the After School Learning Center will continue to meet in room A502 through the end of the school year.

TEXTBOOK RETURN: Please return all overdue textbooks to the Bookstore before Tuesday, May 17, 2022. All current textbooks should be returned to your classroom teachers on, or before, finals. Families will be charged for rental items not returned. This is especially important for SENIORS at this time of year. There will be a hold up on Cap and Gown day for items unresolved. Thank you!

SENIOR ARREARS: Please make sure all book rental and arrears have been paid by Tuesday, May 17. This includes returning all textbooks. There will be a hold up on Cap and Gown day for unresolved items! Pay for lost books with a credit card, money order or cash at the Bookstore. To pay online for overdue book rental:

BLAST OFF:  Hey Class of 2022! It is your turn to “Blast Off” from North Central with a fun event on Thursday, June 2, starting at 11:59 p.m. Head back to the NC Gym after grad dance for a big finish with food, fun and fabulous prizes. Tickets are $25 each and are for sale on GoFan – details in the Senior Corner on NC website.  Be sure to get your ticket before June 1 because the price goes up the day of the event. Seniors, don’t miss this once in a lifetime event!

June 1 – COMMENCEMENT REHEARSAL – 8:00 a.m.

   Buses will be available for students to get to the Commencement rehearsal.  Arrive at the south side of JEL in the parking lot by 7:00 a.m., buses will depart promptly at 7:15 a.m.

   If you do not ride the bus, you MUST be at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum and ready for the 8:00 a.m. rehearsal.

   You MUST participate in rehearsal to be able to walk at Commencement.

June 1 – COMMENCEMENT – 7:00 p.m.

   Students should arrive at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum by 6:00 p.m. in the designated location.

   Again, you MUST participate in rehearsal to be able to walk at Commencement.

ARTISTICALLY TALENTED: If you tried out for Artistically Talented this year or in past years please pick up your Portfolio from any art teacher. We will not keep them past May 20. Thank you.”

SENIORS:  ORDERING YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPT:  Do you need a copy of your final transcript?  Does your college need an official final transcript? If yes, read below:

  • All final transcript requests must be made via Parchment. Access the site using the QR code below
  • Create an account
  • Once signed in, you will locate Transcript and select Order from either the list view or the tile view
  • For all final transcript requests, you must select HOLD FOR GRADES
  • Final transcripts will be sent in mid-June once all grades are finalized

ATTENTION ART ENTHUSIASTS! Join us for a week-long summer art camp that will bring grades 3 through 12 together on the campus of North Central High School. Students will work within their grade level groups and will have a variety of arts and crafts activities.  Advanced and Pre-AP Art students can get a jump start on their portfolios.  At the end of the week, student work will be put on display in the North Central Art Gallery. The camp is the week of June 6, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. See Ms. Ayres in the art department or check it out under Summer Programs on the township home page.
