Summer School 2026 announcement with a panther logo.

The PantherQuest 2026 logo features a black panther head and red text.

  • It’s like if summer camp and freshman orientation came together for one exciting day. Students will explore North Central, meet other freshmen, connect with upperclassmen leaders, learn key skills for a strong freshman year, and get excited about starting high school.

By the end of the day, students will:

    • Become more comfortable navigating the building
    • Meet new freshmen and upperclassmen leaders
    • Learn skills for a successful freshman year
    • Explore ways to get involved
    • Start the year with confidence
  • Students attend based on their last name:

    A-D: Tuesday, July 21st
    E-K: Wednesday, July 22nd
    L-R: Thursday, July 23rd
    S-Z: Friday, July 24th

    Time for all sessions:
    8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

    Note:
To keep groups small and give every student the full PantherQuest experience, students should attend their assigned day for the full session. If your student has a scheduling conflict, they should attend another day that works. Please do not switch days so students can attend with friends.

  • PantherQuest takes place at North Central High School.

    Address:
    1801 East 86th Street

    Lunch:
Students will have a lunch break in the cafeteria. Please send your student with a sack lunch. Food will not be available for purchase or provided by the cafeteria.

    House Huddle:
Incoming students will learn their House Huddle for the next four years. Students who do not attend PantherQuest will be randomly placed into a House.

  • ParentQuest is designed for families new to North Central and families who want to feel more connected before the school year begins.

    Parents will hear from:

    • PTO
    • The Foundation
    • PantherQuest leadership
    • Former North Central students

Families will learn how to support their student’s transition into high school.

Date, time, and Zoom link will be shared later.
