NOTE: Registration letters (Panther Prep information) for the 2019-20 school year were sent out on July 2, which outlined the following preparation process (detailed below):

PANTHER PREP CHECKLIST

Please note that if you are new to Washington Township, you need to contact our Guidance Office at (317) 259-5346 to set up an enrollment appointment for your student. If your student is already a Washington Township student, please continue with the checklist below:

Start of School Process

As we streamline our “Start of School” process, please take advantage of our links to stay informed and prepare for the first day of school. Before school starts, you will want to visit www.msdwt.k12.in.us/backtoschool (2019-20 information coming soon) to find the other school(s) your student(s) will attend and complete the following:

  • Update your information in Skyward. 
  • Find your student’s bus stop in Skyward
  • Download any necessary forms to prepare and bring on the first day of school.

NOTE: Address changes cannot be made on the day of PANTHER PREP.

Should you not have access to a computer prior to the start of Panther Prep, we will have computers available for parents to log into Skyward to update information and any necessary paper forms.

The following check list is provided to assist you in completing all the steps to PANTHER PREP. YOU MUST COMPLETE THIS CHECKLIST FOR EACH OF YOUR STUDENTS:

  • Skyward Family Access Login:
    • Data clean up, please make sure all the information in Skyward is accurate. 
  • Check Your Bus Information:
    • These are directions on how to check bus information on Skyward.  This needs to be checked on Skyward if your student will be riding a bus, you will NOT receive a bus information card.
  • Online Payments/Purchases*:
    • eFunds for Schools is our online payment system (via Skyward). Login and registration instructions for Skyward Family Access and eFunds for Schools are being sent in First Class Mail. Online payments and purchasing options for the 2019-2020 school year include: 
      • Athletic Sports Passes (optional)
      • P.E. Uniforms  Fitness Shirts and Weight Training Shirts (if applicable)
      • Parking Permits (if applicable)
      • Join Athletic Boosters (optional)
      • Yearbook (optional)
      • PTO Donations accepted
      • NC Athletic Boosters Membership/Donations accepted

        * Electronic check – this option through eFunds for Schools is the most economical method. There is NO CONVENIENCE FEE CHARGED for you to use this option and you may pay for one or more of your children at the same time.

        * Credit/debit card payments are also an option. You will be assessed a ONE-TIME convenience fee of $2.65. You can pay for multiple children at one time and the fee will only be $2.65 for the total transaction.

        Any items purchased require a printed confirmation of payment

           2019- 20 Textbook and other fees are NOT available to be paid at this time.
          Families will receive a fee statement after school resumes.

  • Prepay School Lunch Accounts (Available July 17, 2019)
    • If you previously used MyPaymentsPlus (https://www.mypaymentsplus.com/) to manage student cafeteria balances, there should be no changes when accessing your account.
    • If you have not used MyPaymentsPlus previously, then you will need to “Register for a FREE account” at https://www.mypaymentsplus.com/ to create your account (five easy steps).
  • Complete Meal and Textbook Assistance Application (if applicable)(Available July 17, 2019)
    • A NEW application must be completed each school year – one per household. Complete online for faster processing. Visit http://cafe.msdwt.k12.in.us in English or Spanish.
  • Download Forms – Click Here
    • Download, print, and complete each form that is applicable to your student and bring with you to PANTHER PREP.
    • If you are not paying online, please attach separate checks to each form as appropriate and mail or drop off at North Central High School, Attn: PANTHER PREP, 1801 E 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240 before or during PANTHER PREP on Wednesday, July 24th.

IF YOU COMPLETE ALL NECESSARY STEPS PRIOR TO PANTHER PREP, PLEASE ENTER DOOR 30 ON PANTHER PREP DAY, WHERE STUDENTS WILL:

  • Take student ID and yearbook picture (Please dress school appropriate)
  • Pick up student calendar handbook
  • Pick up student schedule
  • Pick up online purchases* (Athletic sports passes, P.E. uniforms, Weight Training shirts, and parking permits)

*You may pick up these online purchases at PANTHER PREP or the first week of school by presenting your email confirmation. Please note students picking up a parking permit must present a valid driver’s license and a completed student parking agreement.

**Remember, all students are expected to attend PANTHER PREP.

***Please note, the busiest times typically are Noon-2:00 PM and 5:30-7:00 PM.  During these times, please allow extra time.
