Panther Prep Checklist

Update Information

Please make sure all the information in Skyward Family Access is accurate. It is important that you carefully review all areas to ensure your information is current for the high school to use and for technology to be checked out to your student for the school year.

Check Bus Information

These are directions on how to check bus information on Skyward. This needs to be checked on Skyward if your student will be riding a bus, you will NOT receive a bus information card.

Make Online Payments/Purchases

eFunds for Schools is our online payment system (via Skyward). Login information and registration instructions for Skyward Family Access and eFunds for Schools were emailed to families on Friday, July 3. Purchasing options for the 2020-2021 school year include:

  • Parking Permits (if applicable) | Parking Permit Application
  • Yearbooks (optional)
  • PTO Donations
  • NC Athletic Boosters Membership/Donations
  • NOTE: 2020-21 Textbook and other fees are NOT available to be paid at this time. Families will receive a fee statement after school resumes.

Online forms of payment include:

  • Electronic check – this option through eFunds for Schools is the most economical method. There is NO CONVENIENCE FEE CHARGED for you to use this option and you may pay for one or more of your children at the same time.
  • Credit/debit card payments via eFunds are also an option. You will be assessed a ONE-TIME convenience fee of $2.65. You can pay for multiple children at one time and the fee will only be $2.65 for the total transaction.

NOTE: Any items purchased require a printed confirmation of payment.

Prepay School Lunch Accounts (available July 20)

Pick Up Chromebook

MSD Washington Township is now 1:1 with technology for all students in grades K-12 for the 2020-2021 school year. Middle and high school students will be assigned a district owned Chromebook to use at school and at home (students will take their devices home at night and on the weekends). The district selected a Chromebook over other devices because it best meets learning objectives, integrates deeply with Google for Education, is compatible with online assessments, is easily managed, and is the most cost efficient. Chromebooks are used in a variety of ways in our classrooms; however, the focus is to provide students with multiple opportunities to research, collaborate, and create.

NOTE: Families will need to update their student’s information in Skyward Family Access before coming to pick up their Chromebook in the North Central Main Gym during Panther Prep.

IF YOU COMPLETE ALL NECESSARY STEPS PRIOR TO PANTHER PREP, PLEASE ENTER DOOR 24 ON PANTHER PREP DAY, WHERE STUDENTS WILL:

  • Take student ID and yearbook picture (Please dress school appropriate)
  • Pick up online purchases* (Athletic sports passes; parking permits for juniors and seniors)
